Didn't get the Watchmen thing, tho. Before The Dark Knight started my husband kept rooting for Watchmen to be among the previews, even though he'd watched it twice online before we left for the theater and had dissected it over the phone with his brother. This summer of comic book flicks is undoing the many years I've spent removing all traces of geek from my mate. This morning I found DC: The New Frontier, Volumes 1 and 2 on the floor next to his side of the bed. I'm losing him...

I, too, watched the trailer twice at home yesterday, then grabbed my wife's arm and hissed, "This is it! This is it!" Her response to the trailer, like yours, was mostly confused grunting. All I've got to say it, you should read Watchmen. Even if you don't like/"get" comics. Good stuff.
Joe, speaking of movies... I wondered if you had heard about/ seen "Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog". It's a 45 minute musical you can buy on iTunes- and Dark Horse is doing a comic series. Joss Whedon (of Buffy fame) made it when he was bored during the writer's strike.
